"Truly wonderful the mind of a child is." YODA
As Thanksgiving approaches many of my friends are posting things that they are thankful for. I know I talk about my son a lot but I am one proud momma.
Andon has experienced so much in his 6 years of life which include losing a brother, moving to a new place and leaving all his friends behind, losing another sibling (my miscarriage) and losing his papa who was his best friend. He has the greatest faith and never seems to worry and just keeps positive. When I am sad about Audie or Papa, he curls in my lap and tells me, "its ok mom, I love you". He doesn't ever want to see a tear in my eye and reminds me where they are. I find myself trying so hard to be strong for him with different situations but he ends up being the strong one.
I have started a journal called "ANDON THE GREAT" so when he gets older he can look back at the stories and special notes from mom. I look forward to many more stories to write. As he is getting older, I realize he is not that little boy that needs his mommy for everything. Even at 6 years old, I am proud of the boy his has become and I pray that he stays focused and stays strong in his faith.
